Description
The Trailer Repair Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trailer types. This role requires a thorough understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems used in trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a trailer repair mechanic or similar
  • Inspect trailers to identify and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
  • Repair or replace defective parts such as axles, brakes, lights, and suspension systems
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to weld Mig, Tig and Stick
  • Ability to perform fabrication tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Repair or replace defective parts such as axles, brakes, lights, and suspension systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments, tire changes, and lubrication
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Capable working in various environmental conditions
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling and bending
