| Salary: | $20 -$22/hr |
| Description: | 1. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. 2. Set up components for welding according to specifications and cut material with powered saws to match measurements 3. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded. 4. Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces. 5. Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps. 6. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws. 7. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. 8. Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing. |
| Requirements: | 1. Experience in using electrical or manual tools. 2. Knowledge of various welding techniques, including MIG, SMAW and Torch Cutting. 3. Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques. 4. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. 5. Ability to exercise interpersonal and customer service skills. 6. Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects within time frames. 7. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. 8. A Welding Certificate will be a plus. |
